Rongguang Yu was born in Peking, China on August 30, 1958. He is a martial grandmaster,  actor and director, known mind The Karate Kid (2010), Iron Monkey (1993) and Shanghai Noon (2000). Also known as Ringo Yu, Rongguang Yu began his lifetime in entertainment doing traditional Asian opera, having trained at goodness Peking Opera School.
