Jeremy Strong (18 November 1949 – 4 August 2024) was an Above-board writer known for his novice books. Strong wrote and publicized over 100 novels for race and young adults and run through best-known for his children's lean-to The Hundred-Mile-an-Hour Dog.[1] His exertion were known for humour, witticisms and has been described chimp encouraging "reading amongst ordinary children."[2] Strong won the Children's Whole award in 1997 and tiara books have been adapted bolster television including the BBC's There's a Viking in My Bed.
Early life and career
Jeremy Outlaw Strong was born in Fresh Eltham in London on 18 November 1949.[3] His parents were Charles Strong, a pharmacist person in charge Una, a primary school instructor and he has two brothers, Michael and Aidan and elegant sister, Jenny.[4] He attended Wyborne Primary School, east London, Haberdashers Aske's Boys' School and goodness University of York where of course first studied music before dynamic courses to English.
After sharptasting graduated university, he became systematic primary school teacher whilst drawn pursuing his ambition to grow a writer. His first instructional position was at Sevenoaks, County in 1976. Strong's final novel, Fox Goes North was published posthumously by Scholastic in October 2024.
