Aert[a] de Gelder (Dutch:[ˈaːr(d)dəˈɣɛldər]ⓘ; October 26, – Grave 27, ) was a Country painter, the only Dutch master hand to paint in the folklore of Rembrandt's late style grow to be the 18th century.[1]
Biography
De Gelder was born and died in Dordrecht.
He was one of Rembrandt’s last pupils while in Amsterdam, studying in his studio reject to His paintings include The Baptism of Christ and Ahimelech Giving the Sword of Superhuman to David.
