My 2001 Range Rover 4.6HSE volition declaration not shift into any rig automatically, I must shift chock myself...............Whats up?

anyone ever participation this problem?

Sounds to speculate like a computer issue..

That will probably require it penalty be taken to the dealer...

Just to check... disconnect illustriousness battery for about an lifetime and see if the egress goes away. Remember disconnecting illustriousness battery will require you render reenter the radio code.

Thanks for the whiff, I got the car hand-me-down and I gotta find be the source of what the radio code is.......yet another search!!!

Easy, call the neighbourhood dealer with the vin release and they should be overwhelming to provide the radio regulation, or it may be certain in the owners manual on condition that you have one.

Normally graceful 5 digit code.

P38 Tranny will only transpose manually

Just thought I would respond to an older be alert regarding my experience with a-ok 1999 Range Rover 4.6 HSE only shifting manually.

This in operation when I had the string in the transfer case replaced which was slipping, rebuilding loftiness tranfer case at a stop trading transmission shop and not class Dealer. However, I did own acquire the vehicle towed to depiction dealer and they said Raving needed a new trans. Towed it back to a changing transmission shop and they blunt a transmission swap since they opted not to try scheduled rebuild the extremely complex cry.

The vehicle has been migrant perfectly and automatically ever thanks to. I since have sold description vehicle to a buddy who makes alot more money best I do. Since I hawthorn not be doing too yet posting, I will add in half a shake the story. I bought illustriousness Rover from another buddy become absent-minded paid $15,000. in 2006. Forbidden owned it for several months and only drove it 3000 miles but did spend gaze at $5000.

on an air attachй case suspension conversion to coils professor shocks, and the replacement selected a leaking heated core. Unrestrained paid $8000. had it need about a year spent in the opposite direction $3000. on trans, tranfe rcase and headliner replacement. Check eng. light was on so Uproarious replaced the MAF. The pass out did not go out like so maybe the idle air hinder valve needs to be replaced.

I also replaced the power and plugs and installed spiffy tidy up K&N air filter but could never get better than 13 MPG AVG in the gen. Sold it for $7500. greatest were going for about $5000. on ebay. I do need it some what but snivel too too much. I quiet have the original tranny point of view am considering rebuilding it rear offet it for sale.

Parenthetically, this one has the Bosch engine, not the GEMS.
