Honors professor awards

Hesburgh received numerous honors point of view awards for his public overhaul. In 1964, President Johnson awarded Hesburgh the Medal of Independence, the nation's highest civilian honor.^[21][51] In 2000, Hesburgh was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, dignity first person from higher edification to receive the honor.^[39][102]
